NCLM 2026 | Shanghai Sun Biotech Reshapes the Industry Landscape with Specialized Coagulation Testing Solutions

From September 17 to 19, the 20^th National Congress of Laboratory Medicine  (NCLM 2026) was held at the Wuhan International Expo Center. Shanghai Sun Biotech exhibited UL-2000LAS Coagulation Lab Automation and UG, UR, and UP series coagulation analyzers, becoming the highlight of the exhibition. A session titled “Advances in New Hemostasis and Thrombosis Testing Technologies Closely Integrated with Clinical Practice,” chaired by Professor Xuefeng Wang from Shanghai Ruijin Hospital, attracted experts and scholars from many renowned medical institutions across the country. Experts held in-depth discussions on the standardization of hemostasis and thrombosis testing, focusing on topics such as the management of thrombocytopenia and spillover effects, the central role of ADAMTS13 testing in the diagnosis and treatment of iTTP, and bleeding and coagulation issues in kidney disease. Experts at the meeting unanimously emphasized that routine coagulation testing cannot fully reflect a patient’s coagulation status. To guide clinical decision-making precisely, indicators should be reasonably selected and interpreted according to the stage of the disease.

Looking across the conference, from precise screening for thrombophilia to anticoagulation monitoring in special populations, from the identification of rare coagulation factor deficiencies to rapid response in critical conditions such as obstetric DIC and ECMO, laboratory diagnosis of thrombosis and hemostasis is becoming a core link connecting laboratory data and clinical decision-making.
